Siti Alia is Our Hero of Justice

[Reader’s Contribution by Aisyah] People slamming Siti Alia for her Palestine advocacy is a pathetic attempt to silence a fearless voice. Siti Alia Abdul Rahim Mattar is a hero, daring to demand justice when others cower. Siti Alia doesn’t play safe. She risks everything to speak for the oppressed. Her call to recognize Palestine and cut ties with Israel is moral clarity Singapore desperately needs.

So what if Israel helped us before?

Past aid doesn’t excuse present wrongs. She sees this and isn’t afraid to say it—unlike spineless critics hiding behind their keyboards. We won’t trade our principles for a few military toys. Singapore’s security isn’t just about tanks and jets—it’s about standing tall as a nation that doesn’t bow to injustice.

Critics whine that ending Israel ties weakens our defense. Let it. If our security depends on a regime condemned worldwide, we’re on the wrong side. Standing on the side of justice is not division—it’s conviction. Us Malays are ready to sacrifice military perks for justice. Singapore can stand for something greater than historical ties.

Here’s the deal: want my vote? Cut all ties with Israel.

Military, academic, everything. No excuses. The party that commits to this wins my support and countless others fed up with neutrality. Ignore us, and you’ll pay at the polls.

Siti Alia isn’t a liability—she’s our conscience. Her Palestine focus unites us around justice, not division. History honors the bold, not the timid. She’s leading the charge for a Singapore that stands tall. The PAP has been dodging this issue for years, hiding behind “diplomacy” and “pragmatism.” If they won’t act, then the WP—or any party with guts—needs to step up.

Siti Alia Abdul Rahim Mattar is the best of us. She’s the leader we need, the voice we’ve been waiting for.
