Just yesterday (6 June), Singapore Democratic Party (SDP)’s Chee Soon Juan shared that Tan Cheng Bock visited him at Orange & Teal Cafe. According to Dr Chee, they had conversations about “the battle ahead”. Does this mean that we will see a PSP-SDP alliance coming soon?
Netters are supportive of such an alliance
Chee Soon Juan and Tan Cheng Bock are familiar names to Singaporean. Both of them have left quite a legacy in their long careers as politicians. They are always looking out for Singaporeans. Both their parties also have near similar policies and plans for a fairer Singapore.
It is not just the duo, but their party members who have also left quite a positive impact on Singaporeans.
SDP has Paul Tambyah who is the President of the Asia Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection and also President of the International Society for Infectious Diseases. Singaporeans wanted him to lead us through COVID.
PSP has Leong Mun Wai who has been the voice for Singaporeans in parliament, despite all the odds being against him. He cares for Singaporeans more than himself, who else will be daring enough to say what no other opposition politicians in parliament dare to say?
Hopefully we will get to see these power houses come together and be united as the one true voice of Singaporeans in the next GE!
