Singapore’s Year In Google Search: Woodleigh Mall Ranks No.1

Google has published its latest “Year in Search” overview, highlighting the most searched topics across various categories over the past year. Google’s annual overview of Search trends provides an interesting summary of the year that was, and what caught the attention of Singaporeans in 2023.

Singaporeans are interested in Tan Chuan Jin’s affair, after Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster experienced higher than ever traffic this year, thanks to the resumption of concerts by the likes of Taylor Swift and Coldplay. What closely follows are searches for “Tan Chuan Jin” and “Nicole Seah”, and their affairs that were made public.

Woodleigh Mall ranks number 1 in the top searched places

Out of the top ten places searched in Singapore, six are new places to visit. This includes new malls and new F&B establishments. Ridout Road also made the cut as a top 10 most searched place.

Singaporeans are also most curious about claiming CDC vouchers and using ChatGPT.

Oppenheimer & The Glory ranks top in searches for Movies & TV shows.

Of course we are also searching for Barbie and Physical 100. These are shows that have dominated conversations in Singapore in the past year.
