On 7 March 2024 at approximately 11AM, a passenger who uses a personal mobility aid (PMA) to move about was stopped by a bus driver. The bus captain refused to allow this passenger to board the bus because his PMA had 3 wheels. The bus captain allegedly said that “only wheelchairs and 4-wheel PMAs were permitted”.
This happened despite the “Transport For All” neck strap which the passenger wore, and a medical document he brought which indicated his medical conditions.
