Just this weekend, Tan Cheng Bock (83) was seen with his party at a walkabout in West Coast. This is to the delight of PSP and Tan Cheng Bock supporters, especially since he also hints at running for the elections.
“If you believe in active ageing, I shouldn’t retire right? If you all think that age is not a problem, I’ll be around… I never say no.”
Tan Cheng Bock
We must take advantage of PAP’s recent political hits and rally behind PSP / Tan Cheng Bock.
This is the best time for opposition parties to gain more ground. After all, PAP has just showed us this year that they are not who they used to be. From Iswaran’s CPIB case, to the whole SimplyGo that simply cannot make it, and how can we forget the Tan Chuan Jin/Cheng Li Hui scandal?
Singaporeans can see how Leong Mun Wai and Hazel Poa help Singaporeans by vocalizing our concerns in parliament, something we didn’t really have before. Tan Cheng Bock joining PSP once again this year will definitely be an additional boost to PSP’s already growing pool of supporters. After all, this is a man who narrowly lost in both a Presidential Elections and a General Elections.
It is a good time for us to stand with PSP! Let’s hope that we can get more representation for Singaporeans in parliament this time!
